Presence
There is a first language: pre-verbal, beyond conditioned thought and familiar. It seems to be the original essence-bearer that connects us all. Within the human, this state of being is the most powerful and ever-present expression of Source that I have come to recognize. In that recognition lives everything familiar: solace, love, belonging and timeless access to the One. I call this place, Home. Without it I would surely feel lost and inconsolable. When we hear the call of the soul as an expression of the I Am Presence, this is what I know returns to life in humanity. The wisdom of the ages and the soul's own records might be found here.
For some, the call of the soul is felt like a wooing, for others, a hunting-down, as if there is ultimately no place else to go except into this memory of being cherished. We do remember. We have all had the experience of being listened to that aligned us with our own hearts. The heart appears to be the locational beacon for this language. Our hearts both offer and receive from that eternal revelatory place.
Might it be this simple, that to perpetually return to the heart will restore our soul's participation in our lives and purpose? It is such a quiet conversation in there. Yet we can recognize our essence by the way it feels. How does it feel to belong, to have a place, first from within ourselves?
So much love.
As always Iris, you touch my. heart and soul with understanding....
I love the idea of going to my heart and soul at the same time.
